Balms and salves are a simple, effective, and useful medicinal and beauty product, and can easily be slipped into a purse, pocket, or first aid kit. Balms are solid at room temperature, but soften once applied to the skin, making them less messy to apply than oils and just as moisturizing. If you’d like to learn more, then please join me for a wildcrafting workshop. We’ll discuss the healing properties of a variety of locally available herbs to use in balms and how to make balms that are safe for children and the paws of our furry friends. We will make a nourishing wild-foraged plant-based medicinal balm from start to finish, and you will get to take a tin of healing balm home with you. Wild foraged snacks and herbal tea will be served, and a selection of balms will be available for purchase. Space is limited so register online here to reserve your spot. ~ $15 for adults; $5 for children under 12
