Have you been curious about foraging and wild food, but don’t know where to begin, or do you want to learn about the medicinal plants that grow in our bioregion? If so, then me for a walk with me! We’ll meet at one of my favorite trailheads in the Santa Monica Mountains for a leisurely and informative plant identification walk. Participants will learn how to identify many of our local and seasonal edible and medicinal plants (and maybe even some mushrooms ), how to incorporate those plants into easy-to-prepare meals at home, and the importance of ethical harvesting. We’ll end our walk with some snacks made with a mixture of wild foraged and organic ingredients, and some herbal tea. Location and additional information will be available upon registration. Pay online here to reserve your spot ($20.00).
