Medicinal Plants for the Outdoor Enthusiast (7-12-22, 6-7:30PM)

$15.00

Before modern pharmaceuticals, people turned to nature to find cures for what ailed them. From headaches and nausea to bee stings and cuts, plants offer healing properties that are still revered today. Would you like to learn more about how to identify and use some of the medicinal plants that grow in our bioregion? If so, then join me for a workshop about herbal remedies for outdoor enthusiasts. This workshop will be focussed specifically on plants that are useful for hikers and other outdoor enthusiasts. We’ll discuss, for example, how to reduce symptoms of dehydration, altitude sickness, and care for cuts, sunburn, and insect bites, among other common trailside issues. This class is FREE for SAR members.
