In this day-long outdoor experience, we'll be working with plants as food and medicine. The morning will open with a powerful plant spirit meditation as we familiarize ourselves with the local ecology and the plants we'll be working with. Afterwards, we'll take a gentle hike through the lush forests of the Los Angeles National Forest, learning about edible and medicinal plants and mushrooms, ethical harvesting and ancient ethnobotanical uses. We'll also forage a few ingredients to add to our lunch. In the afternoon, we'll wildcraft a wellness tea blend that we will enjoy as part of a ritualistic tea ceremony. Our time together will end with forest bathing and snacking on treats made from wild-foraged ingredients. The suggested donation for this workshop is $100, and includes a light lunch.
